Crash trends in Lents/nearby, how to reduce fatal and serious crashes, and an update on the Outer Powell and I-205 construction (PowerPoint slides from ODOT and PBOT)

Attached above are the presentations that Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) and Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) representative gave at the Lents Neighborhood Association general membership meeting on May 28, 2019.

ODOT: Tiana Tozer, Region 1 Transportation Safety Coordinator for ODOT, provided an overview of crash trends in the Lents Neighborhood and nearby. She also provided information on the Outer Powell and I-205 construction, as well as current traffic safety education efforts and campaigns.

Vision Zero: Clay Veka, Vision Zero program coordinator, gave a presentation on speed limit changes in our area and explained Portland’s data-driven approach to eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries.
