The ONI Bylaws Template reminds that NA Board Members are subject to the Guide to NonProfit Board Service in Oregon.

Oregon Department of Justice, Charitable Activities Division, very clearly states in its Guide, on page 4, “But whatever the other reasons for service, the principal role of the board member is stewardship.  …. This requires active participation.  People who do not have the time to regularly participate should not agree to be on a board…..”   (emphasis added)
